Description:

All participants prepare small ensemble items (duets, trios, quartets, etc), rehearsing in each other's homes and performing them at our meetings. We circulate, so that at different concerts we perform with different people.

Whilst as individuals we try to give a good performance (for our own personal satisfaction), there is no pressure from anywhere else as the audience is comprised only of our group members. The emphasis is always on enjoyment and friendship.

Our range of instruments include: violin, viola, cello, flute, oboe, cor anglais, clarinet, bass clarinet, saxophone, chromatic harmonica, recorders, classical guitar, piano accordion and piano. We also have a vocal ensemble.

We would welcome more woodwind, string, French horn and recorder players as well and singers and pianists.
